Because of this (unsurprising) shift, that means advertisers and marketers have to think about more than ever about the best ways to market on mobile devices – because there is a distinct difference.
Entrepreneur has a few suggestions for how best to keep your attention focused where it needs to be:
- Keep things simple – if people are primarily viewing information on a mobile screen, there isn’t room for clutter and “fluff.”
- Remember location – locally focused messaged are more effective when they are location specific.
- Make it personal – while you have to be careful about personalizing messaging too much, there is value in “personalizing the entire action with consumer based on the location of person and various other factors.”
