Matthew McConaughey’s Lincoln ads earlier this year were equally discussed and parodied. They were certainly some of the most talked-about ads of 2014. And now, “there’s even more to mock or meditate on,” according to Adweek. Whether the ads were bashed or praised, they were being talked about and brining huge amounts of attention to Lincoln. The decision to extend the series with McConaughey speaks both to the popularity of the actor and the relevance of the ads.
